 SILK CUT LINOLEUM is a highly responsive medium that enables the artist to create beautiful prints.
SILK CUT LINOLEUM
is made from 6 ingredients - linseed oil, rosin, wood flour, limestone and cork, which are mixed and then pressed onto a backing of natural jute, and then allowed to cure.
All of these ingredients are made from ecologically friendly renewable raw materials. Every aspect, from harvesting raw materials through to the return to nature of the finished product, meets stringent environmentally-conscious standards. The natural raw materials that make up SILK CUT LINOLEUM are harvested from sustainable crops, and at the end of its life it can be safely added to landfill refuse sites, where natural decomposition takes place.
