Q. Can Furniture Linoleum be bull nosed?

A. Yes. However, to avoid cracking the material it is not recommended to bull nose Furniture Linoleum around any radius tighter than 50mm. When specifying or installing this material, we suggest you consider finishing the edges with trimming rather than bull nosing.


Q. Can you splash back Furniture Linoleum?

A. Yes.


Q. Can heat be used on Furniture Linoleum during the installation process?

A. Yes, but not excessively.


Q. Can Furniture Linoleum be used in wet areas (eg; bar or kitchen)?

A. Yes, providing it is joined / sealed correctly.


Q. What sort of backing does Furniture Linoleum have?

A. Saturated Paper Felt.


Q. Do Duroloid install Furniture Linoleum?

A. No we only supply the material. Please contact us for a recommended installer if you require installation.


Q. What width is Furniture Linoleum available in?

A. 1830mm is the only available width for this product.


Q. What is the thickness of Furniture Linoleum material?

A. Furniture Linoleum is manufactured at a thickness of 2mm.


Q. Do Duroloid cut Furniture Linoleum to size?

We cut any length your require from a 30 - 32 lineal metre roll. However, we do not cut the width down. Also we do not cut multiple lengths of the same colour. For example, if you require 2 x 5mtr pieces of the same colour, we will supply one piece at 10mts.


Q. What is the best general cleaning method for Furniture Linoleum?

A. We recommend cleaning Furniture Linoleum with a damp rag or cloth (warm soapy water), followed by applying a coat of Mr Sheen. For more extensive cleaning please contact us or your supplier.


Q. Can thinners be used on Furniture Linoleum to remove stubborn marks?

A. No, thinners leave marks on the surface of this material.


Q. What adhesive is used for fixing Furniture Linoleum?

A. Generally, Furniture Linoleum should be fixed using a contact adhesive. Or for multiple applications where pressing is available a water based / environmentally friendly adhesive can be used.
