Q. Do Duroloid manufacture finished boards complete with edging, mounted on a backing etc?
A. No we only supply the material. Please contact us for a recommended manufacturer if you require a complete board or installation.
Q. What width is Bulletin Board supplied in?
A. All 12 colours of Bulletin Board are manufactured 1220 mm wide. Some of the colours are also manufactured
1830mm wide (refer to colour palette for details). Stock of 1830mm is limited so always check our stock levels before committing to a project in this width.
Q. What is the thickness of Bulletin Board material?
A. Bulletin Board is manufactured at a thickness of 6mm.
Q. Are all the Bulletin Board colours the same price?
A. Yes.
Q. What sort of backing is on Bulletin Board?
A. Heshin.
Q. Do Duroloid cut Bulletin Board to size?
We cut any length your require from a 28 lineal metre roll. However, we do not cut the width down. Also we do not cut multiple lengths of the same colour. For example, if you require 2 x 5mtr pieces of the same colour, we will supply one piece at 10mts.
Q. What is the best general cleaning method for Bulletin Board?
A. We recommend cleaning Bulletin Board with warm soapy water, followed by applying a coat of Mr Sheen. For more extensive cleaning please contact us or your supplier.
Q. What adhesive is used for fixing Bulletin Board?
A. Generally, Bulletin Board should be fixed using a contact adhesive. Or for multiple applications where pressing is available a water based / environmetally friendly adhesive can be used.
Q. Can you paint Bulletin Board?
A. We do not recommend painting Bulletin Board.
Q. Can you fix Bulletin Board directly to a wall?
A. Yes, Bulletin Board is often fixed directly onto a wall without being mounted on a form of backing. However, this would only be recommended in situations where the Bulletin Board is unlikely to be moved in the future.
